UEG Week is the premier venue for researchers from across the globe to present their latest research.

UEG Week combines world class scientific research, invited lectures by leading minds in gastroenterology and an excellent Postgraduate Teaching Programme. Multidisciplinarity is a key focus of UEG Week, which covers topics of interest for the entire GI community.

* The fellow in training fee is only applicable for master and PhD students as well as for residents in training. Registrants need to be under the age of 40.

After complete retirement from all clinical and professional activities, doctors are entitled to a 50% reduction on registration fees. To register as retired doctor please contact Julia Bauinger.

UEG Week is only accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the science, management and prevention of gastroenterological disease. By registering, you accept that non-healthcare professionals, including children, will not be able to access the congress area.

Cancellation of congress attendance: Cancellations must be made in writing to uegweek.registration@mondial-congress.com. In the event that the attendance at the congress is cancelled by Thu, May 17, 2018, the registration fee minus a processing fee of 25% will be refunded. No refund will be made if the registration is cancelled after Thu, May 17, 2018. Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.

In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, UEG shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the event. You shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change. All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.

* Please note that participation will be on a first-come-first-served basis. To maintain a high standard of teaching, workstations are limited to a maximum of participants and pre-registration and specific level of skills might be required. Details for attendance will be published at the UEG Week website.

** Registration after September 6, 2018 does not necessarily entitle the participants to receive all congress materials.

Group registration

Group registration (minimum purchase: 10 registrations)

If your company would like to invite participants to UEG Week in Vienna, we provide a special group registration offer to you, where you can take advantage of the early registration fees.

In case that you order group registration with full pre-payment by Fri, Jun 1, 2018 you can take advantage of the extended early registration fees, otherwise for group registrations the regular fees and deadlines apply.

Order and full pre-payment received until Fri, Jun 1, 2018.
Submission of names of your delegates until Thu, Sept 13, 2018.

 To process your request, please provide us with the following details:

  • Information about the group coordinator: name, email, mobile phone number
  • Group/ company name (if travel agency on behalf of a company - letter of confirmation is required)
  • Number of group registrations requested

Please note that contact details (minimum requirement: full name, email address, country and age groups) are mandatory for the name list submission.

Name list submission
Filled in name lists – using the provided EXCEL template - need to be sent to Mondial until Thu, Sept 13, 2018.

Name changes
Name changes can be made free of charge until Thu, Sept 13, 2018. After this date, the costs per name change are € 10. This amount has to be settled immediately by credit card.

Confirmations of registration
The confirmations will be sent out upon request by email. More information to follow.

Group material pick up
Please inform Mondial if you are interested in a Group Pick-Up by Fri, Sept 28, 2018. The material can be picked up during the registration counter opening hours. Please note: it is mandatory to nominate one authorised person to pick up the material.

Cancellation of congress attendance

For registrations after September 6, 2018 the on-site registration fees are applicable.

Registration after September 6, 2018 does not necessarily entitle the participants to receive all congress materials. Please note that participants who would like to register on-site are advised to arrive early. On-site registration will be handled upon a first-come, first-served basis, priority will be given to pre-registered delegates before September 6, 2018.

Official agency for AIFA submissions

According to Italian legislation, any Marketing Authorisation Holder or pharmaceutical company responsible for the commercialisation of a drug, which organises or helps to organise, whether by direct or indirect funding in Italy or abroad, a congress, or a meeting on topics in any way related to the use of medicines, shall notify the competent Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) at least 60 days before the date of the event to ensure that these adhere to strict technical criteria and aim to provide further knowledge in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry, physiology, pathology and clinical medicine.

Gruppo SC Studio Congressi is the official UEG Week Italian agency appointed to support companies with these formalities and to deal with the Italian Health Authorities.
